Indoor Potted Bamboo
Although we do not recommend using bamboo indoors, these varieties are better suited than most. Bamboo tend to get root bound quickly, due to their fast growth, and need to be divided out of the pot every few seasons to insure they do not suffocate themselves. In addition, bamboo need humidity. Indoor air, especially during the seasons when heating or air conditioning is in use, may be too dry for the bamboo. This condition can be modified with a humidifier, water-feature, misting, etc...
