The three bamboo Pyllostachys aurea “koi” plants that I ordered on Monday afternoon, arrived this Wednesday morning. Already they are in place on our balcony where they cast dramatic shadows on our windows. They are healthy and happy. It would have taken me days to winnow through the range of possiblities. This way I can go right to enjoying the shape of this noble plant. I just wanted to drop a quick note to say THANK YOU for answering my many e-mail questions. I just placed my first order for bamboo and am quite excited to finally have the beginnings of my very own bamboo garden. It took us a bit longer to prepare our new landscape than we had anticipated, mostly due to unexpected hardscape delays, but we are finally at the planting stage. Your friendly attitude and thorough explanations were very helpful to me and I am quite pleased to be able to do business with you folks. Next time I am in the San Diego area I would love to arrange a visit to the nursery.
